In 2009 and 2010 my better half and I urban nomaded – we ventured to the far corners of the planet living in various urban communities for 1 to 3 months on end and working remotely. We were searching for another home base so we would lease an Airbnb, do shopping for food and endeavor to make companions rapidly to perceive what it might truly be want to live there.

We completed an aggregate of 14 urban communities including Buenos Aires, Tokyo, New York and obviously, Portland where we wound up settling. Making companions was really harder than working remotely (with the exception of attempting to discover quick wifi). It wasn't too difficult to connect with companions of companions or old school amigos in new places. And after that we could normally get an espresso or supper on the schedule.
