West Ham issue official statement after fans invade pitch du

Several West Ham fans have been accused of bringing shame upon their club after they invaded the pitch four times during their 3-0 defeat to Burnley at the London Stadium.
link sbo oals from Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood gave Burnley the lead in the second half of Saturday’s 3pm kick-off, which provoked protestations around the ground with thousand of supporters directing their rage at the Hammers’ owners. Chants included, “We’re not West Ham anymore”, “Sack the board” and “Where’s the money gone?”.
The situation became so intense that West Ham’s captain Mark Noble was moved to incapacitate one fan with a rugby-tackle while another attempted to plant a corner flag into the centre circle.
Burnley’s bench also invited children to sit in the dug-out to ensure they were away from any potential violence erupting in the stands.
Squawka’s Tom Green was at the game and described frightening scenes as stewards were struggling to contain West Ham’s incensed fans: “The first goal resulted a fan running towards Mark Noble, who ultimately ended up reacting. Mark Noble’s frustrations towards that fans sums up how some West Ham supporters feel towards the owners.
