Chelsea failed to take advantage of Liverpool’s goalless draw in the Merseyside derby on Saturday as they are held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea went into this game unbeaten in their last 11 home Premier League games against West Ham since a 2-3 defeat in 2002.
This undefeated chain remains intact today, but it hasn’t helped the Blues.
Cesar Azpilicueta opened the scoring at Stamford Bridge with a soft goal against a West Ham defence in disarray as they stood ball-watching when the Spaniard struck in the 36th minute.
West Ham managed to equalise in the second half with an excellent strike from Javier Hernandez, แทง บอล which might have saved West Ham from relegation.
Here are the biggest winners and losers from this evening’s match between the sides.
Winners...........Joe Hart
Theoretically the West Ham ‘keeper is still in contention for the England No.1 shirt, as Gareth Southgate has yet to settle on a man between the sticks.
But Hart is in serious danger of being left out altogether now, as the 30-year-old has only kept four clean sheets in 17 appearances with the Hammers, and ‘keepers like Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland, and Nick Pope are looking more and more like better choices for the summer.
