MOHAMED SALAH has spectacularly ended his four-game goal drought by scoring direct from a corner for Egypt. By the high standards of maxbet last season, when he scored 44 goals in all competitions, Salah has struggled this term for Liverpool. Salah has scored just three goals and been under par in a number of matches. But Salah got back on track today at international level with Egypt. Egypt were playing in an Africa Cup of Nations Group J qualifying match against Swaziland and leading 3-0 maxbet when Salah stepped up to take the corner in the 44th minute. The 26-year-old then curled a shot at goal which deceived the goalkeeper and flew into the net. It was his first goal since a tap-in against Southampton on September 22. But the match ended on a sour note as Salah was forced off with a leg injury. Salah went straight down the tunnel and it is unclear at this stage how serious the maxbet injury is. Meanwhile, Salah’s form has been defended by former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler.
“I’m not saying he’s having a bad year so far,” Fowler said.
“He’s still a good player, he’s still an excellent player but to replicate what he did last year will be unbelievable.
“I think he’ll still score goals, I think he’ll still score a lot of goals.
