Oh hey, it does do that. It only just now alerted me, and this is the third time I've started it today. (I have started it other times after the Distance launch, too :P)

[quote="Mr. Mister"]I leave the forums for a while, and it ends up with you two fighting over a WASDhacked Olimpian Iron Man top position, eh?
This makes me think it'd possible to make a map deswigned to be WASDShacked, with wings disabled, no road, and tons of kill layers.

Um no, i used a Logitech Gamepad. No Damn keyboard controls for me!!
But yes, kill layers are neat if properly positioned!!

Bleh, using the keyboard is easier when you want to manipulate the rotation thrusters. :P
Plus, it's technically my term, and it refers to any method of manipulating the rotation thrusters to propel the car through the air, so so there. :P

Also, in the interests of keeping this thread alive with proper scores, here's a picchar (even though, ironically, the guy in first place cheated):

(that's Empire Climb if you can't tell)

Hehe, you two use controllers, right (except for you Ski when you want to do precise rotations I guess)? Because I'd never abandon the keyboard.

What I meant was that a map could be designed so that WASDhack hovering is the intended way to move through it: the path will be trridimentionally enclosed by at least five kill layers, and floating obstacles be placed, with wings disabled (and no infinite boost or it'd be as easy as van-rocking).

BTW, remember how I f****d up the Crystal scoreboard? With exception of the abbsurd 00/01 (can't remember) time, I did all the others by increasing the boost power of the Avanger and setting its heat rate to zero, but I still had to control the thing (I didn't enable wings).

Care to try beat those hacked times without wings too?

That would be an interesting level. I've contemplated making a level that consists of entirely flying (and sort of half-started one), but actually making and playing a level intended for WASDhacking would take some serious skill. :P

And yes, I remember those days well. :P I probably couldn't beat those scores, though. At least, not without insane amounts of repetitive practice.

I've just recently picked up Nitronic again, and will try to beat some scores, but I'm nowhere near your skill level. Skirmisher is a beast :P

Halp, someone beat me before I inadvertently take over the scoreboard!

Also, I noticed that my Observatory score had been bested several times, so I spent an hour or so on this:
