Three remixes of Nitronic Rush soundtracks.

Postby Ciastex » Sun Jun 24, 2012 2:08 am

I was bored so I started with playing around with what I extracted from files and made new versions of soundtracks. If it isn't wanted, just tell me, and I'll delete them from here. It's only an experiment, cause I'm new to remixing music. Your task is to write comments on this, what is bad, what is good, or is it worth to continue remixing (just be honest, and don't hate) I want to hear feedback especially from main music composers here, of course, others are appreciated as well. :P

The soundtrack that I like the most in original version:
End To A Violent Heart (Nitronic Rush Remix)

Skirmisher, something for you:
Quargzon Tracks Music (Nitronic Rush Remix)

And finally, the complete Observatory soundtrack:
The Observatory (Nitronic Rush Remix)

Again - If any of original authors DOES NOT WANT IT to exist, just tell me and I'll care about it.

I was thinking about remixing the official music as well. Maybe you guys could provide the .flps? It'd definitely help custom music fit the tone of the game better.

I had only loops that were packed into main.bnk, nothing else. Just did it to have fun. Also I don't think they're going to give us samples and projects. It's obvious :P

I don't mind giving out some synth presets, but technically speaking Digipen still owns this game, so giving out source files would most likely end badly for me and Jordan. Sampling from loops extracted from the game, however, is fine with me but don't expect me to compile the loops into a single .rar for download, I'm gonna be a dick and make you work to extract them from the game

A preset dump would be useful.

There's nothing to thank me for, I just rearranged loops. Huge credit goes to Quargzon, without him/her this song may never existed : D

The voice sampling layer from "The Observatory" track sounds awefully lot like "Love or Lies" by capsule. You can listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJKf_-1tF30
